The good news is that God loves you!

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoseover believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.  John 3:16

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.  Romans 5:8

But there is some bad news . . . we are all sinners.

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.  Romans 3:23

As it is written, There is none righteous, not even one.  Romans 3:10

The good news is that God has a remedy for sin.

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.  Romans 6:23

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name.   John 1:12

For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.  1 Corinthians 15:3-4

If you desire to be saved from sin, you must simply repent of your sin and put your faith in the One who died in your place.

Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.  Acts 3:19

Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.  Revelation 3:20

For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.  Romans 10:13

Acknowledge yourself as a sinner.
Believe in Christ
Confess Christ as Saviour.
